COVID-19 INFORMATION

Ngā Kākano will continue to operate as an essential service. We will update this page daily.

The Practice is open and you can still access a GP or Nurse but you need to call us to arrange an initial consultation over the phone. Call 07 573-0660 or text 027 554 1118.

The Community Based Assessment Centre (CBAC) is open at Tauranga Race Course from 9:00am- 6:00pm @ 7 days per week to test for COVID-19.

The centre allows people with suspected COVID-19 symptoms to drive directly to the centre to be assessed.  Please note you must be referred to the CBAC by your GP.

What if I can't afford the petrol to go to the Community Based Assessment Center (CBAC) in Tauranga?

Ngā Kākano Foundation has petrol vouchers if you need assistance for travel to the CBAC.  Phone Vicki on 07 573 0660 or text 027 554 1138.
